Located on devini rajasingha mawatha, is a small, beautifully maintained cemetery not far from the botanical gardens at peradeniya. Maintained by the commonwealth war graves commission as a permanents war cemetery, this serene oasis is the resting place for military personnel who were killed during world wars 1 and 2. A Tombstone marks the spot of one grave from the 191-1918 war while there are 196 graves of those who died during world war 2.
